A Few Grains Can Be Fatal
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid 50x stronger than heroin and 100x stronger than morphine. Just 2 milligrams can be deadly. Because it's cheap and powerful, it's often mixed into other drugs without the knowledge of the person taking it.

It's in More Than You Think
- Fentanyl is being found in pills, powders, and street drugs - including fake Percocet, Xanax, Oxycodone, and Adderall. These counterfeit pills look real, but can contain a deadly dose of fentanyl. If a pill doesnt come from a pharmacy, dont trust it!
Seconds Matter. Know the Signs.
Overdoses happen fast. Watch for:
- Slow, Shallow, or Stopped Breathing
- Blue Lips or Fingertips
- Unconsciousness or Unresponsiveness
- Snoring Loudly
- Gurgling or Choking Sounds
What Should I Do if Someone is Overdosing?
- Administer Naloxone if Available
- CALL 911 Immediately
- Try to keep the person awake and breathing
- Stay with them until help arrives
